The course I'm doing is sort of technical - twiddling with PhotoShop and whatnot - which sort of worries me. But hey ho, it should be fun. I did a City & Guilds just before digital came into being ... oh the orange glow of the darkroom. It'll be interesting to watch your photography develop. My top tip is: buy yourself a lightweight cheap tripod, they really help you relax while you fiddle with the camera settings and fret about the composition, and they're indispensable for low light and night time photos.
